IT'S was time again for the Oxford Group to celebrate their annual Oxford Race Day.The racing event focuses on the sponsorships and support that the group receives to make their sporting and social activities a success.Held at one of Punes most stylish places,The O Hotel,the event saw the who's who of the racing and corporate world,dressed in their best.The coveted O awards titled 'Oscars in racing' were presented under 12 categories,for excellent performance."Oxford will look at many other such sporting involvements in the times to come,"said business development director Rohan Seolekar who was present.

The group has been incessantly leaping forward in multiple fields besides construction,real estate development,hospitality,agriculture,car agencies and resort development.The last decade has been phenomenal for the growth of the group with the new generation successfully carrying forward its legacy of 'Great vision and mission'.Rated as the third best in Asia Pacific and nominated as the best in India,2011,the Oxford Golf and Country Club will have major western region tournaments this year including the most attractive Indian open and Asian event in 2012.The club house will be operational from the mid of next year,although the e n ro l m e n t s for memberships have already begun.
